Wonderful meal in great location
I ate an evening meal here in May 2017. We had just walked down from the Schlossberg and this place is at the far end of the square at the bottom of the steps down the mountain. We all had a main course, some of us had salads to start and one person had a dessert! I was recommended to have the local delicacy, Beuschl, but as it was heart and lungs, decided not to! I had a dish of potato croquettes with mushroom sauce over some meat cuts - very tasty and filling. The salads were appreciated, as was the KaiserSchmarrn dessert. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere all contributed to a great experience.

I've been there 3 times over a 3 year time span - consistently good Austrian local kitchen and friendly service. Has a very relaxing local vibe to it.

Great local kitchen, nice staff, old historical building and garden with old trees. They have even some vegetarian dishes. Recommendations!
