The base price is the same as the Airport...
However they nickel and dime you for basic car rental services..
Car was covered in gross stains all over seats...(pics coming)
Next time, We will drive to the airport and get a car from a reliable rental company...
I thought it would be great to help out the little guy....Car rental companies (I guess) are not where one makes this leap....

SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.....the jerks charged me 9$ for gas..
as I picked up the car with less then 1/2 tank and returned it with the same amount...

DO NOT RENT CARS WITH THESE PEOPLE. You should have an option of 0 stars or even negative for terrible service. Went there to get a car. Told me I had to have my dad come to rent the car because needed a credit card that matches drivers licence. Ok no problem. My dad's credit card didn't work so the lady over there said she will drive us to the bank and my dad didn't have to come back to pay and I would be allowed to pay. Went to the bank. Came back and the guy over there said I CANT pay! Why because my dad's not here when the lady said he didn't have to come back so i didnt bring him back. Why do you promise service to customers when you are not going to fulfil it and live up to your word. Terrible customer service. Hertz was my original place I was going to but I went to these guys cuz they were closer and I didn't have much time. DO NOT EVER GO TO MR. RENT A CAR 6322 KINGSWAY BURNABY. THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE AT KEEPING THEIR WORD AND WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA FEES EVEN WHEN YOU'VE PAID.
I called the Richmond office to complain about this service and they hung up on me saying it's policy. I didn't sign anything niether did the lady show me. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. FIRST AND LAST TIME IN GOING IN THAT STORE. VINCENT IS THE SUPERVISOR AND HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO HIS JOB AND KEEP HIS BUSINESS RUNNING. THE OWNER SHOULD FIRE HIM AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO IS RELIABLE AND WILL KEEP THEIR WORD.

As a student, I try to travel economically and this seemed almost impossible if I wanted to rent a car even just for 3 days in Vancouver. However, the price at Mr Rent A Car was about half the price of the other more popular rental companies in the area. At first I was skeptical because of all the negative reviews that this place had gotten but my experience was very different and I would recommend them to anyone trying to get the most for their money. Vincent was the employee that interacted with me and he was friendly and reasonable. The car that I rented was brand new and in perfect condition. The only reason i could see for customers to be unnecessarily charged is if they don't understand the conditions of the contract, just be sure to ask the employee if you don't understand some aspects of the contract that need clarification; just like any other car rental company. If you've had a good experience leave a review, these guys are a growing business and offer the best price in town but aren't receiving the reviews they deserve.
