December 23: Welcome to Kiruna
Your Magical Christmas adventure begins at Kiruna Airport, where our friendly local representative will greet you and transfer you to the 4-star Scandic Hotel Ferrum In Kiruna. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to explore this delightful destination. If the conditions are right, you may want to take walk In the evening to look for the mysterious northern lights. *

December 24: Christmas Eve with Huskies and Visit to Reindeer Farm
Begin this special day with a traditional Swedish breakfast buffet before heading out for the day’s exciting Arctic adventures. First on the agenda is a visit to a traditional Sami reindeer farm for an authentic lunch and a chance to learn how to drive a reindeer sleigh. Those who manage to pass the short driving test are awarded a special “reindeer driver license”! This is also a great opportunity for some last-minute Christmas shopping as the farm offers handmade Sami crafts for sale.

In the afternoon, head to the husky kennel to learn about the hard-working Siberian huskies followed by an exhilarating dog sled ride through the breathtaking wilderness. Back at the kennel, enjoy a well-deserved hot beverage and snack with the lead “musher”. Return to the hotel In the afternoon and enjoy the evening as you wish.

December 25: Christmas Day with Santa Claus
Spend the morning of this Magical day as you wish. Around noon, the Christmas festivities kick off with a visit to a wilderness camp. Children can help bake gingerbread cookies and then take a snowmobile-drawn sled ride into the forest to pick out the perfect Christmas tree to bring back and decorate while the parents enjoying a tasty mug of glögg, a warm mulled wine traditionally served In Nordic countries during the holiday season. Then it’s the moment everyone has been waiting for as Santa Claus comes for a visit with gifts for all good girls and boys—grownups included! Afterwards, enjoy a smorgasbord style Christmas dinner buffet with traditional Swedish holiday foods. Transportation back to the hotel is provided after dinner.

December 26: Departure
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, transportation is provided to Kiruna Airport In time for your departure flight.
