Best Italian for miles....actually has Italians in the kitchen.been eating there for 20 years never been disappointed.....small but totally authentic...... .a magic place.

What a little gem of a restaurant this is, doesn't seat very many and that gives it a lovely friendly atmosphere, the food and the service were outstanding and the price was very reasonable, if you love Italian food, you must give this a try.

Coeliac friendly. Excellent and engaging service. Very good wine selection. Fabulous food.

Starters (octopus & mussels) were fairly good. However, for the mains, the tuna steak was over-cooked and served with what tasted like a pool of vinegar all over it (ingredients listed on the menu weren't detectable). The salmon was similarly served with what tasted like a pool of cream. Vegetables and roast potatoes were tiny and bland. Looked like they had been microwaved and tasted like plane food drenched in olive oil. Desserts were OK, but nothing special. The coffee tasted like it had already been sweetened before it came to our table. Had to shout to get service. Service wasn't amazing... Often the waitress would forget the orders, but the staff were pleasant enough when at the table.
