Horrid on my birthday we were told to leave as soon as we sat down not even looking at the menu, the staff had a disgusting attitude.
Guess they didn't know I was one of the secret reviewers!

Superb. Just superb! The food is unique and refreshing in ways that are hard to describe. Highly recommend.

Having heard reviews on Nonna's I was looking forward to enjoying a meal with a local that has been here before. We were met with a welcome to take our seats and that was where the hospitality ended. We were judged for not ordering wine and we had to ask for food menus! Upon ordering our starters and mains, the waitress met with an impersonable tone and attitude with which we were slightly taken aback by. The food was adequate but the service with which we received was completely unacceptable for a supposed family establishment. My friend was very embarrassed that I did not receive the warm Warrnambool welcome with my dinner however I left Nonna's gladly and never wanting to return.

Had dinner hear over Easter. I wouldn't call it family friendly but the lone waitress was as helpful as time permitted. Got there around 6-6:30 and they felt understaffed at the front. The menu has changed i think recently so check before you go in. The food was well made and quite tasty but n the seafood. My wife's duck was ok but not as flavourful as she expected. They do do a kids pasta and the ravioli was the best i had ever tried (got this for the kids).

After an awesome experience driving down the Great Ocean Road, from Melbourne, I stopped for the night in Warrnambool before heading back to Melbourne. Being from the US, I was skeptical about how the steaks were in Australia. I'm from Texas, US, the capital of awesome steaks. I was absolutely amazed with the steak that I ordered. I have to say, one of the best steaks I've ever had. The restaurant didn't look spectacular, it was a hole in the wall kinda place, the service was very good (that waitress was on the ball). From Texas to Australia, I definitely recommend Nonna Casalinga.
