Comfortable rooms, nice lobby, close to waterfront, half the rooms have water view Indoor connection to food court and some minimal shopping, adjacent to a goodlife fitness Quality gym in hotel, food a little pricey but pretty consistent quality. Would recommend local restaurants instead though

Visiting with part of our group for a local event. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Easy access to Scotia Square and the convention center. A terrific place to stay!

Where to start...? Just really, really great customer service. I started with 4 stars because of the size of the room (the only thing that slighted our visit). But the bed was super comfy, the shower rocked, the cleaning staff were exceptional, the location was soooo convenient, and we left very happy with everything. The icing on the cake happened just a couple minutes ago when [Daryl] helped me out with an item I had forgotten in my room. I left yesterday without it and just discovered it missing, A quick phone-call, another great display of customer service, and my forgotten item is on its way back to me by mail. Nice!! 5 stars from Ontario...Awesome job by all at the Delta Halifax!

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all of the expected amenities. The buffet-style breakfast is better than I expected. These are usually passable, but this was quite good! The staff have all been very helpful and friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We had our wedding here on July 8th and there really isn't a single thing I would change about the day. Originally we had another venue booked a year in advance and it fell through. 3 months before the wedding we booked with the Delta Halifax and I couldn't be more grateful! For starters, Jennifer came in on a Sunday to show me the space. The view from their Bluenose Ballroom is beautiful. After we booked the venue any questions I had were responded to through email within a half hour which is awesome for a bride who is 3 months out from the date. They take so much time and care in making sure the day and timeline is exactly how you want it. Mark who was there on the day of the wedding was absolutely wonderful in making sure that everything happened the way it should happen. He was there from start to finish willing to help in whatever way he could, he even took me through the buffet and filled up my plate so I wouldn't get anything on my dress! The food was absolutely phenomenal. All staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I would recommend the Delta Halifax to anyone planning a wedding or event!
