Dr. Anise Barton is a lovely, intelligent , young doctor who is very down to earth and kind. I have had several procedures with this fine lady doctor with excellent out comes. I have had no pain during these numerous procedures. Off pain medicines within 24 hours. All ways comes to see you after the procedures and informs you of your results. Most appreciated even if I only remember--Went well !
Her staff are also kind and efficient. Thanks Donna.

I had Dr. Barton perform my emergency Gallbladder surgery. She was amazing from start to finish. Made sure all my questions were answered in full, took time to talk with me instead of over me and made sure I had lots of reassurance after my heart rate went out of rhythm (what's called A.Fib) just before surgery. Felt very comfortable with her.
I had Dr. Wallace the next day as I was kept overnight for monitoring. Despite being super busy in the hospital, he made sure to come see me between surgeries and let me go home. He also went over any questions and all my concerns and never once was he anything but kind and courteous. Both of these surgeons are phenomenal and I'm glad I had them through this experience.

Dr. Wallace gave me my life back! He took a great deal of time explaining my case and a greater deal helping me get better. He has the best bedside manner ...very upfront and compassionate but brilliant! Thank you dr. Wallace fir everything! I'm so glad that I traveled from prince george to kamloops to get your expertise . FOREVER THANKFUL!

Worst gastro (Hes not even a gastro specialist)so called specialist in the Okanagan.....I went to him with severe stomache pain and ended up in emergency 3 times in 2months waiting and he promised oh ya i'll look after you,blah blah blah,it ended up he told me I had a large growth and palips in my stomache and something wrong with my abdominal wall right after my scope at RIH in front of 6 people and says we'did a bioapsy of the growth and let you know in 2 to 3 weeks and walks away.how classless,then 2 weeks later getting back in to see the results in spite of a ignorant assistant who books appointments there,he comes in smiling and I said well is it cancer he looked at me like I was crazy, and no,its caused by protein pump inhibitors(acid reflux meds)I said well I have a lot of pain in my stomache and chest he through a pamphlet at me its irritable bowel syndrome and walks away to the next room I said well are you taking the growth out..No he said that not causing your pain....since then I've been in excrusinating pain every day and taking tynol3 for pain and too get a second opinion in the Okanagan is impossible cause your suppose to go back to this idiot.DONT GO TO HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! GO TO KELOWNA THEY HAVE 8 GASTRO SPECIALISTS!BE AWARE THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Note update April 5th 2016,My favorite Dr.wallace tries to confront me at the local safeway to try to intimdate me into taking my review off here and visably upset about and stating the internet is not the forum for this rather his office!!After much thought today being of Syrian decent and know all about oppression its 2016 I think the greatest place to express our experiences good or bad to help others and to let people be educated is Social media.my experiences were real and I'm tring too help others and will never be intimidating to stop talking about my experiences.He wont like this either,but its life on lifes terms good or bad!Up date july 7thg 2016 I went to salmon arm to get a second opinion on my pain stomache issue I had absolutely no help with for the past 11 months and the good dr in salmon arm found a 9mm tear in my abdominal wall and will operate to repair next week....I hope dr Wallace gets the same karma he gives pathetic! Can't hardly wait to tell him off at safeway when he tries to confront me......Makes me wonder why I pay monthly MSP payments for this pathetic health care,but these dr's love spending our money on there long vacations or golf courses or ski hills...(cant stand the stupid smurk on his face every time I'm in this hospital saying hello to me to think it actually bothers me, Hes not playin with a full deck,stay away from him!)
