I went here today for my first laser treatment. The staff were lovely and took the time to explain the procedure and calm my nervousness. The receptionist was very kind and made sure to check-in with me when my appointment was a few minutes late. My service was with Tara who I'd highly recommend. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and exceeded expectations. The laser itself was mildly uncomfortable but was so quick it was completely bearable, and made easier with the cooling sensation from the machine. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the machine broke half way through and we weren't able to continue. They didn't charge me for the session and suggested I make an appointment to return the next day to finish. Overall great experience and I'll be returning again.

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review for anything and it has taken me almost a month to grow the courage to write one. I have to say my experience here was SO DISAPPOINTING. Staff were friendly but a smile does not make up for $80+ pedicure I got (with gel nailpolish removal) where the very inexperienced employee didn’t clean under my nails at all, didn’t file under my feet, didn’t cut my nails and did the most mediocre paint job ever. I had to go home and cut my own nails, file under my feet myself and clean under my nails. Soooo disappointed in the quality for the price!!

Both girls were quite pleasant. Booked my husband and myself to enjoy a pedicure together. His was over in 20 minutes and charged full price. Nails, especially with ingrowns should be soaked 1st, then cut. Both girls were still in school, yet charged full price for services, way over priced and unqualified.

My new favorite spot to get my nails done. Mel does the best gel manicure and pedicure in the west end. It's clean and modern and the staff are very friendly. I love that you can order a stuff drunk if the mood strikes you and they do a mean coffee too!

I am so disappointed in this place because it has such amazing potential. However, one does not pay 40$ for a manicure that doesn't even last for 24 hours! I waited for it to dry as advised and I stayed in the store, however when I got out I noticed that the top coat wasn't evenly applied to my fingers, and whenever there is a top coat line, the colour would start to chip! Just a few hours after I got it!!! I had to go to my interview with 3 chipped nails and not to mention 2 days later I have 5 completely ruined fingers. I had such high hopes for this place because it is so nice, clean and pretty. The staff were friendly too, but I was really disappointed in the quality of this service. I have no idea if this was because of the top coat or the quick-dry drops that were added later on, but that was the worst polish job of my life.
