My daughter booked four nights at Hotel Marseille Richelieu expecting a vacation to Europe for college graduation in May 2015. She thought she was booking direct with the hotel which has a 48-hour no charge cancelation policy, but was redirected to Expedia and a no refund policy. She was bumped from her flight and very unfortunately could not make the trip at all. I contacted the hotel immediately upon learning of the cancellation. Only the first night was within the 48-hour cancellation period. Hotel Marseille Richelieu refused to consider any assistance and forced payment in full even though they knew the room would not be used. I was told by Expedia that they would refund the payment if allowed by the hotel, but Hotel Marseille Richelieu refused any consideration. We set up a case number with documentation of the efforts to reach out to the hotel, but communication was difficult and the hotel kept ignoring the requests. The total cost to us was over $500.

Great view, good breakfast, staff very friendly. But room needs better cleaning.

The rooms were eclectic,the views were great.Lovely location.We will recommend the hotel to friends!!Hope you received my comments from the guidebook.

Excellent sew view and sunset. Great room of junior suit. Friendly services. Restaurant next door is delicious. Convenient connection from train station by 82s.
