The rooms are small and a bit dated. Room could have been cleaned better, but at least the bedsheets and the towels were clean. Staff is very friendly and provide a good service. Breakfast was simple, but fine. Location is ideal as the city center is within walking distance and the hotel is just across the train station.

Two days in Strasbourg. The hotel is just near the railway station and at the border of the pedestrian area of the city centre, so great location and strategic position for visiting the old town. If you arrive by car you can park at a public parking 5 min walk away, with a 50% discount offered by the hotel. The look is quite old, the interiors would need to be "refreshed" and internet connection improved and the rooms overlooking the railway statio may be noisy, especially in summer when you mau want to keep the wondow open. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff very kind, the breakfast is good and the lift (XIX century) amazing, so if you plan to enjoy the city rather than the hotel, this may be a good choice.

We had a very good experience at this hotel with the staff being very helpful to us in several respects. We needed an early departure and they said that they would have breakfast ready for us an hour earlier than the posted time. We paid more for the "executive" room and it had been renovated and was really quite nice. I was also concerned about the noise level since our room windows opened on to the busy square in front of the train station----- but really no problem. In all, a very good experience.
