Really good place to crash the night and keep going. Excelent location right beside the train station.

The staff were pretty friendly & spoke English (which helped bring from the U.S.). The rooms were nice with air conditioning when it was a bit warm. Rooms were also pretty nice! The location of being right next to the train station was absolutely great too especially for catching the ICE train!
P.S. If you catching the ICE train going to Berlin, Mannheim, or Frankfurt I HIGHLY recommend you make an online seat reservation! This was one of the busiest trains we were on ever. We had to stand for part of our trip.

Spending two nights and the locstion is great Directly beside the Frieburg hbf and a short walk to the alstadt. Room was quite ready when we arrived at 3:30. But the attendants held our luggage so we could explore without our heavy luggage.The room is decent and clean. The bathroom fan is on a timer with a red light... Which is a bit odd but seems to work well enough
