Ierisera abbiano mangiato una tagliata di chianina ottima era tenera come il burro e le patate novelle al forno ottime è x finire la birra rossa artigianale super il padrone è gentile e simpatico un ristorante da provare

For 30 years I've been driving past Carrara and finally decided to make the 10-minute detour off the A-12, and it was well worth the stopover. A beautiful town with buildings, mountain views, piazzas and sculpture dominated by, you guessed it, the local marble. But the most pleasant surprise was discovering Osteria Merope. A comfortable and friendly ambience, with superb regional specialties at reasonable prices. We were greeted by the owner who explained the menu in great detail, and gave us a history of the restaurant and its place in the town. We treated ourselves to all four courses, sharing the generous portions. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had and I will return for sure.
