Probably used to be a Grand Hotel. Now a little bit outdated. Would need some renovation. Beds are good though and rooms are large.
Good for a stop over. Not for a holiday.
Avoid the restaurant - there are many better (and cheaper) ones around

Very Nice rooms
A bit old fashion but it is the beauty of this Nice Hotel.
The stuff in Dining room and behind the reciption desk
was great ! polite and profesional willing to help
at any question.

Very good room with a great view of Mount Etna. Excellent service. Very good breakfast - very close to Geno which I consider to be the best in Italy.

Great hotel, helpful friendly staff. Good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. Underground parking available which is really useful as the streets are always full. Good wheelchair access. I was able to park the car underground and take the lift to reception.

The hotel is okay, not the newest but everything you need. In the room, the bathtub was not completely clean. That was a huge disappointment. Above all, I find hygiene the most important.
Breakfast was good.
The salad we took in the restaurant was the worst. We ordered a salad with chicken for 15 euro, all we got was some lettuce, tomato, egg, some pieces of cooked chicken and the "special" orange mayonnaise. We saw the make that, he came with a cup of mayonnaise to the bar, took a slice of orange and put some drops in it, put his nose inside to smell and brought it to us. It had no taste different than normal mayonnaise.
For being the most expensive dish on the bar menu I expected something better.
