Very disappointed. I had a local work colleague tell me this used to be the best Cacio e pepe place in Rome. He did say however that he thought he heard it had gone a little downhill with the tourists. He was right. I've had better at about 6-7 different places in Rome.

What can I say, this was our favorite restaurant in Italy! The food is elegantly simple and made to absolute perfection. Service is prompt and friendly. The price is right and the location is wonderful. Highly recommended, order the Cacio e Pepe, with lemon (white sauce) meatballs as secondi and 🍉 for dessert!!!

Food is AMAZING. Order the carbonara! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the wait staff. They weren't very friendly and made frun of us when we asked for the check.

It noes not have a paper menu. What is made for the day is listed on the chalk board menu. The best pasta I have ever had!!! And very reasonable. This is a must visit restaurant that caters to the local people, not tourists.
