Hard to spot and not always open on weekends (not in winter anyway), but this restaurant is well worth the effort. Superb attitude to food and service and not just your run of the meal restaurant experience. Do be brave and try liver or the tripe, if you're a foody you won't regret it. This place is also excellent value for money and the experience will be a highlight of your trip. Valentino was super friendly and although the are many places still to try in Rome, if I'm back in this fair city I will return to La Sagra Del Vino.

If you are not looking for touristic bu@@@@hit place and want to try the REAL roman food.. this place has been managed by the same family for 70 years now.. the food has always had the same flavor.. Candido is a sweet guy and his son his going to keep on the good job of the family..
