Hidden away in one of the many passageways of Venice is this absolute gem of a restaurant. We first visited Iguana on a stopover trip to Venice a week ago and loved it so much that the following week, we made a special detour so that we could return. The food is delicious and the margaritas so good I want the recipe. Thanks Anna and the rest of the crew for a great dining experience.

I know eating Mexican in Italy is wrong, Mexican in Italy is not going to be good. I am not writing because of the food. I am giving one star because they knew we where tourists and made up prices for our drinks. They apparently needed the money.

After having our fill of pizza and pasta in Venice we searched for Mexican food and this was basically the only place in town. We walked there (it's not really in the center of things) around 8:00pm tonight and it was closed.
Disappointed that their website didn't mention they were closed which would have saved us some time. Not sure if this is an ongoing thing or just happened to be closed on the one day but we left annoyed and still craving Mexican food.

Not bad for mexican food on Venice! Gives you a break from pasta. Small and nice atmosphere. Tacos were great.

Good break from the other local restaurant food selections, decent Mexican food (from Los Angeles, so great is a very high standard in Mexican food), great staff, music playing and upbeat. Good drinks and atmosphere. Great big smiles on the staff, wonderful people, wish I could give a 4.5, 5 on service and overall feel of the place
