I see a number of good reviews for this place but I don't quite agree. You do get good portion of food for a reasonable price however the service is very questionable. Our waiter cleanes the table by wiping the bread crumbs off with his hand. For another table he just picked up the table cloth and reversed it. I put in my same order twice and asked for the check 3 or more time. The waiter was sloppy and had a very short term memory. I'm not an impatient person, but we waited more than 30mins from the time I first asked for the check.

I got lost on my way to Venice hotel and 'found' luscious food here...hooray! I had mixed salad....huge, w/radicchio, fresia, carrots, tomatoes, just delicious...'ordered glass of house white...perfect...and then came the BIGGEST CALZONE THIS AMERICAN GIRL HAS EVER SEEN! The crust....of course perfetto...the inside brimming with crimini mushrooms, ham and mozzarella...."Death in Venice" [sorry Mr Mann] from loving a calzone too much...I was only one of about 10 people on restaurant and within 20 minutes it was SRO..good prices for quality and size of food order. Staff was pleasant but very busy.If I ever get lucky enough to return to Venice...I will head to Osteria ai Canottieri.

A very very lovely place to eat at. The food came in reasonably good portions. The water was really nice, the other staff was helpful, wifi was working perfectly. The view is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, you get to sit at the end of Venice while a canal is next to you and sea at front, away from all the hustle and bustle and away from tourist crowds. The prices are also reasonable.

The service here was super slow, even though a lot of tables were empty. Even to collect the bill, the server arrived after 15 minutes. BUT, the food was worth the wait! One of the best meals in Venice, and it is truly a place frequented by locals. Would recommend 100%.
