Āraišu ezerpils

Araisu Lake Castle has become a popular tourist site and a unique visualization of Latvian ancient history. This is a unique archaeological monument of national importance: IX-X century. Latgale remains of the ancient residence. Currently, Lake Castle is already partially reconstructed and visitors can see the restored wooden houses prehistoric Latgale.
