Karostas cietums

Already serving their sentence in prison in 1905 the revolutionary events of 1905 sailors involved in the garrison. Place opposite the prison become the brothers' graves of many prisoners who were shot just inside the prison fence. At all times the building served as a prison-virssardzes the Soviet army, the Latvian Army and Marine forces. The last prisoners left their comments on the jail cell walls until recently - in 1997.
