All you get is a low quality documentary with poorly translated voice-over read completely without enthusiasm. The storytelling is so bad that you really need be familiar with Malta's history beforehand. You'll find better documentaries for free on YouTube.

There's a lot of history to explore in Malta, so don't waste your money or time on the "Mdina experience." It's a real joke, a low resolution short documentary that's not worth the money. The music drowns out the narration and if you listen to one of the translations it's badly translated with lots of grammatical errors. If you want to learn about the history of Malta you can learn much more by visiting St John's Co-Cathedral, the Lazarus War Rooms, or Fort St. Elmo. By all means, go to Mdina, but don't go to the Mdina experience.

Offers a better perspective and context into Malta and the old Town of Mdina. Also a good way to relax after walking a lot
