Meals were pretty good, but the lady running the show was very unfriendly. We were seated by a young server, she made it very clear that she was unhappy about this (it was a Saturday night and we hadn't booked. Figured we would ask if they had space and move on if not), very abrupt and rude when we asked questions about the menu and asked for the bill. Had a trainee trailing her all night, he was great, however she chose a space maybe a metre to our left to have a very loud conversation for 15 minutes with him, again making us feel very uncomfortable. Place was nice enough and the food was ok for the price, however Barcelona seems to be a city of happy and welcoming people, so the hostile welcome was definitely the standout of our visit.

Ate here for dinner one night. The tapas were great and the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is an interesting mix of Belgian and Syrian specialties, and is marked up with a comprehensive list of allergens. The variety of dishes should mean even with multiple avoidances there are options!

First visit just for the steak&frites: it delivers! Lovely cooked meat, the fried chips spectacular. The salad leaves are surprisingly good with a delicious vinaigrette; a very rounded dish. We had some dessert: Liege waffles with ice cream - crunchy, luscious, caramelised to perfection. We had coffee as an afterthought and it was a run of the mill Nespresso. I am really sorry to say this but, although the waiter was a very very nice guy, every time he came to serve or to collect dishes or to ask about the meal, he was surrounded by the smell of stale, nasty cigarettes... We shall repeat for the tapas next time!

What an amazing restaurant! The staff are attentive and the food is delicious. You must try the prawns with curry ice cream and the beef carpaccio. I will definitely be returning, like almost everyone else who comes here.

The best croquettes ever ! And they have delicious prawns which they serve with curry ice and a spinach salad. Very friendly staff and oh the owner is an amazing host. We come back for more!
