really nice gym
positives:
good price
good clean equipment
nice genuinely friendly staff.
People here are a fascinating microcosm of Kleinbasel's ethnic and cultural diversity and that's a great thing.
negatives:
nasty smelly old toilets with broken sink
no water fountain.
some of the young men training here are entirely innocent of any knowledge of the wonders of deodorant, i.e. they really smell bad. For God's sake guys grow up and learn to use deo!

Decent gym at a decent price; would recommend
Pros:
*very spacious
*good equipment
*plenty of workout areas and stations (just avoid peak hours)
*great hours (M-F 6:30AM-11PM) Open Sundays and most holidays
*excellent location
*workout area always clean
*big windows with great natural lighting
*cardio (treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, ski machine) and weigh-training possible (cable/machines, free weights, racks & cages)
*plenty of TV screens with news
Cons:
*No public water fountain (What gym doesn't have a water fountain? And please skip me with the "no gyms in Switzerland have water fountains"---get a freaking water fountain for goodness sake! It's a gym! People must have water!)
*Must pay for a shower (😂🤔🙄)
*Workers are not trained to greet and bid goodbye to members (seems a bit rude and unprofessional)
*Men's bathroom smells like piss, and the sinks are old, broken and generally not of good quality

Price is quite alright for the quality. There are plenty of machines and all in good state. Would recommend.
