A very special place. Balanced mix of Thai traditional house and French management and ownership, good food both Thai and French, cozy and calm with an outdoor garden somehow classy but laid back, with a Rugby vibe and even a pétanque court!

Small, family run restaurant in Sathorn soi 6. Tables and the bar are outdoors under cover of the house veranda, so it is not air conditioned but comfortable. Owners are a friendly French and Thai couple with a Thai Chef. Good food at reasonable prices and a lot of dishes are not spicy.

Very nice green garden and a old style house repurposed as a restaurant. Not easy to find in a residential neighborhood. Good initial concept with many flaws though.
Starts with the all present owner couple, which in this case is not a good thing due to his grumpy and not friendly at all nature. She is not much better when it comes to interaction with patrons asking for the preparation of food items.
The food itself is the killer though. The menu is full of Thai food for tourists. That means all dishes are adopted to what most foreigners think is Thai food... And the taste of the food is simply not good. Of four dishes tried, one was edible. The rest was hardly touched. The owners, who more or less harassed us before all the time suddenly went silent and absent. They did not loose one word to the obviously not enjoyed food. BTW the restaurant name suggests French food as well. You will find a few items that sound French on the menu but are they? French fries and pork chops do not count in my book.
Conclusion:
The not acceptable quality level of the food combined with steep prices are the main issue with this restaurant, e.g. a glass of cheap house wine from a 3l box sold for 200 Thb is just outrageous. The food is overpriced as well.
Overall a missed opportunity of a decent location. The owners do their part to let guests not feel welcome. It seems they do not need or want business.
This place can not be recommended, not even for the decent location. Sitting in the garden could have been a pleasant experience, if you brought a strong mosquito repellant. Since there are hardly any guests, you will be their dinner.
