Mishandled booking. I drove two hours to get to this place, yet because I'd arrived 5 minutes late because of a vehicle fire on the M5, they refused the service I'd booked. Atrocious customer care with a 'like it or lump it' attitude.

I went in for a shave and haircut having been recommended by a friend to try this place out. I was very pleasantly surprised! The staff are excellent and clearly care about their customers. The cut was great and reasonably priced for the experience. I'll certainly be back.

I had my haircut here yesterday and the cut really isn't that great. The issue is that despite me telling the barber what i wanted and how much to take off he took very little off and has cut my hair into a certain style. A style that i didn't ask for. All i asked for was for my hair to be shortened, not cut into any style as i can style it myself. I especially didn't want my hair cut into a style that was different to how i usually style it. The barber didn't ask me if the length was okay etc. just cut it, stuck some wax in, styled it and then showed me the back. He'd have to wash it then cut it if i told him that he had left it too long. Considering i now have to get my hair cut again at a different barbers i would not recommended anyone going here.

I had a pedicure today and I am very disappointed. Although the nail polish is lovely, there was no attempt to exfoliate or smooth the rough skin on my feet which I would expect from a luxury pedicure! My feet are no different from when I went in! Very disappointed!

Would not go back after my experience today. Entered the salon and was not offered a drink or welcomed. I have to add that I enjoyed my foot massage and that is why it deserved 2 stars. However, after my nails were done I was moved to the sofa to dry them and was left to my own devices as the salon was busy (fair enough). After waiting longer than the 10 minutes I was told to wait to dry my nails I asked a member of staff what to do with my feet (leave them to dry longer, take the wrap out?) and I seemed to have faced what i believe is ageist treatment as I was talked down to and I felt embarrassed at the way the staff member spoke to me. I believe also I should have been instructed to stay longer as my feet did not dry properly and my pedicure is now uneven...
I think this is disappointing since I payed £25 and I' m a student who was celebrating finishing exams.
