Been here a couple of times to stop in for a coffee and lunch. It's always been quiet. The service is friendly and the food on our last visit was superb.
It's a relaxed feeling place with leather sofas and old oak tables which really suit the place.

They were able to accommodate us without a booking despite being fully booked and clearly very busy on Sunday lunch time. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

My girlfriend and I have been twice over the past couple of weeks, after the first time I was desperate to go back - but tonight really made a difference for me. Once again as always, we had great food, great service and a great atmosphere.
However, we managed to actually speak to the general manager - who was helping out in the kitchen - and he came out to speak to us and was absolutely lovely. Confident, charming and a really nice guy. He even managed to convince us to have dessert without even trying :P
All in all, I fully recommend this place to anyone, I just hope my review can help to bring more people here as they deserve more business! Great food, great service and a great feel to the place - we will be regulars!

This place has great promise. It has been through several owners in the last 2 years and I don't believe it really knows what it is.
Most of the food ok, however have had to send some dishes back.
Unfortunately a lack of atmosphere which is a great shame.
Shadow of its former self.
Let's hope that it gets back on form, as overall pleasant.
