CA-180 approaches the interchange with CA-99 (exit 57A), which was opened in 1995 & extended westward in 2003. The CA-180 freeway west of here was opened in 2008. CA-180 west of here goes thru the cities of Kerman & Mendota, although CA-180 ends at CA-33 in Mendota. There are plans to extend CA-180 west to I-5 in the future.
