"DRIPPING ROCK." For a thousand feet there is a granite wall with many outcroppings of layered rock, some more than 50ft. in height. Many small, crystal clear springs issue out between the layers of rock and flow across the road below. This fault in the granite strata extends across the bed of the flint river into Meriwether County and causes many shoals and ripples in the river that can be seen clearly when the river is low and clear. - Windrift Aerodrome photo gallery
